The Milan International Trade Fair
The Milan's Cathedral Duomo. In white marble the majestic Cathedral Duomo extends over a length of 157 mt. With its 5 ships it is an imposing religious building. The light falls through beautifully arranged colour windows inside the cathedral.
The Defence Castle of the Sforza - the Castello Sforzesco. In the 14th century the majestic Sforza Castle was built by Galeazzo II Visconti as an enormous defence castle. The Castle hosts important art exhibitions and a hall, painted by Leonardo.
The Last Supper of Leonardo. In the refectory in the Dominican convent of the church St. Maria delle Grazie you find this work of genius. In the years 1494-1498 Leonardo da Vinci painted his famous "Last Supper", in which Jesus announced that one of his apostles will betray him. The Last Supper is one of the most famous works of art ever painted.
Shopping District - In the "Quadrangle of Fashion" district near the city's center of Via Montenapoleone, Via Andrea, Via Gesù, Via Borgospesso, Via della Spiga and Corso Venezia the Italian fashion designers offer there luxurious creations.
One of the most legendary and celebrated houses of Opera music "La Scala" was built at the end of the 1700s over the remains of the Church of Santa Maria della Scala and reopend on 07 December 2004 after a nearly three-year complete reconstruction with the same opera of 1778 - Antonio Salieri "Europe riconosciuta".
