In the 14th Century the huge defence castle was built by Galeazzo Visconti II. Leonardo da Vinci served from 1482 - 1499 at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. He completed important paintings (Last Supper, Virgin of the Rocks), but he left many projects (paintings, sculptures) unfinished.

From the Sforza Castle to the Arch of Peace and from the Triennale Exhibition and Torre Branca to the Arena Civica extends the Parco Sempione.

The English garden is a charming place for relax and meeting.
