Circa quattrocento opere selezionate tra le quasi quattromila dedicate all'arte italiana del XX secolo proprietà delle Civiche Raccolte d'Arte milanesi sono esposte in un bellissimo ambiente.

Sono esposte 45 pagine originali di Leonardo da Vinci, scritte a mano sul "Codice Atlantico" nella Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Piazza Pio XI e nella sagrestia del Bramante nella Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie (Via Caradosso).

La Pinacoteca Ambrosiana ospita fra altri capolavori il "Ritratto di Musico"!di Leonardo e le bozze per la "Scuola di Atene" di Raffaello Sanzio.
