Il Museo del ‘900 è stato aperto nel ristrutturato Palazzo dell'Arengario in piazza del Duomo il 6 dicembre 2010.
Il Museo del Novecento mostra al pubblico un'eccellente collezione, che testimonia la storia dell'arte italiana dall'inizio del XX secolo fino ai giorni nostri. Circa quattrocento opere selezionate tra le quasi quattromila dedicate all'arte italiana del XX secolo proprietà delle Civiche Raccolte d'Arte milanesi sono esposte in un bellissimo ambiente.

La Madonna del Padiglione
e la Natività mistica
La Pinacoteca Ambrosiana celebra Sandro Botticcelli. Grazie ad uno scambio con la National Gallery di Londra, arriva a Milano la Natività Mistica che verrà esposta al fianco della Madonna del Padiglione già parte della collezione milanese. Un prestito esclusivo reso possibile dall'invio a Londra del Ritratto di Musico di Leonardo da Vinci.
L'opera Natività mistica è stata scelta dal Cardinale Angelo Scola come copertina della lettera di Natale che verrà consegnata nelle case dei milanesi durante le benedizioni natalizie.

Hayez nella Milano di Manzoni e Verdi
La mostra è ammirabile nella Pinacoteca di Brera. Francesco Hayez, autore del celebre Bacio conservato proprio a Brera, insegnò per lunghi anni durante l'Ottocento nella famosa Accademia milanese.

National Museum of Science and Technology
