The San Siro stadium "Giuseppe Meazza" stadium is situated in San Siro district. It was built in 1927 and restructured and modernized in 1990 for the World-Cup Italia '90. The stadium consists of three tiers, each of which is divided into 4 different-coloured zones - orange and red for the rectangular zones and green and blue for the curved zones - where 83,000 visitors find place.

How to get to the San Siro Stadium Giuseppe Meazza

From the city centre:

By underground: MM1 (red line) direction Molino Dorino until LOTTO station. From there you can take a buses or walk on foot, which takes approximately 15 minutes.

By tram nr 24 until the final stop AXUM.

By car:

From Bologna, Florence, Rome (highway A1 ) get the Western ring road (Tangenziale Ovest), until the junction with the state road 11 (Statale 11) you will reach the stadium directly.

From Turin (Torino) ( highway A4 ): after the city barrier follow the signs to Venice (Venezia) until you see the junction Milano Certosa get off the highway there and follow the signs Stadium San Siro.

From Bergamo, Verona, Venice, (highway A4): after the Eastern city barrier (Milano Est) follow the signs in the direction of Turin (Torino) until you reach the junction Milano Certosa get off the highway there and follow the signs Stadium San Siro.

From Como, Lake Maggiore, Switzerland (highway A8 - A9): after the city barrier follow the road until the sign Milano Certosa and follow the signs Stadium San Siro.

By train:

From the central station (Milano Centrale) take the underground line 2 (MM2 green) in direction Famagosta, get out at Cadorna FN change into the underground line 1 (MM1 red) direction Molino Dorino, get out at LOTTO.

By plane:

From Linate Airport by bus nr.73 till the final stop San Babila, change into the underground line MM1(red) in direction Molino Dorino, get out at the stop LOTTO. . From there you can take a buses or walk on foot, which takes approximately 15 minutes.

From Malpensa Airport take the shuttle bus or the shuttletrain Malpensa Express to get to the center of Milano and take the underground from Cadorna station. From here you take the red underground line1 (MM1 red) in direction Molino Dorino, and get out at the stop LOTTO.
